Apprentice Carpenter - Burnside

HIA Apprentices is offering an exciting opportunity for keen and reliable individuals looking to start a career pathway as a fully qualified carpenter. Positions are available for enthusiastic candidates looking to start or continue their carpentry apprenticeship.

As an apprentice, you will:

  • Work hands-on building structures and working on construction sites
  • Learn alongside professional tradespeople
  • Gain full training in all aspects of the carpentry industry
  • Receive dedicated support from HIA Apprentices throughout your training and employment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn
  • Punctual, reliable, and hard-working
  • Committed to completing your apprenticeship and becoming a fully qualified carpenter
  • Team player with attention to detail
  • Driver’s licence or access to reliable transport
  • CI Card (White Card) or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Priority Applicants:

  • Those who have already commenced their apprenticeship
  • Applicants who lost their position due to COVID-19
  • Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply
