About the Role:

With some experience in estimating and proficiency in CABMASTER and PYTHA, you’ll report directly to the director, learn, grow, and assist our experienced Onsetters.

Your Day to Day:

  • Review drawings, scope, and specifications to formulate accurate cost estimates

  • You will have at least two years of experience in kitchen and cabinetry design

  • Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an on-setter in the cabinet-making industry.

  • Strong understanding of cabinet-making materials, construction methods, and industry standards

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements

  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to accurately calculate material quantities and labour costs

  • Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite

  • Tertiary qualifications in Cabinet Making, Construction, Quantity Surveying, or Engineering highly recommended.

  • Confidence with Cabmaster, Pytha, Bluebeam, Excel, and construction estimating software

  • Understanding of Australian construction practices, codes, and supplier networks

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commercial acumen
