Job Description

If you have strength of character, commitment to quality and diversity of thinking we want you to be part of our creative team. To apply you must have a minimum 5 years as a Cabinet Maker experience and a Certificate 111 or equivalent in Furniture and Cabinet Making.

We are offering $74K - $75K Responsibilities;

  • Responsible for quality cabinetry assembly
  • Assist with factory operations as required including machinery operation, loading of joinery etc.
  • Assist with offsite works such as measurements and installations as required.
  • Responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes and ensuring compliance with specifications
  • Ensuring all deadlines are met (alongside the Factory Foreperson)
  • Liaising with staff to ensure timely communication of issues is made between our divisions
  • Examining drawings, work orders and sample parts to determine specifications by the customers
  • Selecting and working with materials such as timber, veneers, particle board and synthetic wood
  • Marking out, cutting and shaping wood
  • Working from drawings and specifications to make furniture
  • Assembling parts to form sections of furniture and completed articles
  • Installation of cabinets and modular furniture
  • Fitting hinges, locks, catches, drawers and shelves
  • Consult and resolve issues with production Foreman
