About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced handyman to oversee the efficient operation and upkeep of our Motel and Cabin Park. This involves ensuring timely and quality delivery through preventative maintenance activities, site inspections, audits and day to day as required maintenance activities for compliance with site requirements and regulations to protect and maintain the property. Key responsibilities include but is not limited to:

·         Perform routine maintenance tasks across the property, including minor plumbing, electrical and general repairs

·         Respond to guest requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly

·         Troubleshoot and repair any equipment malfunctions

·         Monitor and maintain machinery and systems

·         Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations

·         Cleaning common area floor coverings, multilevel windows and tiled floor areas

·         Maintain garden areas

·         Work closely and managing any contractors and builders.

About you

·         Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role

·         Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

·         Strong communication skills and good attention to detail

·         Relevant certifications (e.g.) electrical or plumbing) are a plus

·         Physically fit – good physical fitness and strength

·         Has valid full Victorian drivers license
