Position Overview

Role: Cleaning Team Leader
Location: Youth Justice Facility, Parkville VIC
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay Rate: $34.71 per hour + allowances + super
Contract: Permanent Part‑Time
Start: ASAP

Note: This role must be your only job due to site requirements


What You Will Do

Lead and support a small and dedicated cleaning team
Maintain consistently high cleaning standards
Communicate effectively with management and staff onsite
Clean and sanitise offices, reception areas, workshops, bathrooms, communal spaces, and foyers
Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust floors and surfaces
Perform bio‑cleaning tasks when needed
Complete basic computer-based reporting


What You Need

Previous cleaning experience and confidence in leading others
Ability to start early or finish late when required
Working With Children Check, current Police clearance, and unlimited Australian work rights
Ability to pass medical, drug, and alcohol screening
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Basic computer skills
