Lux Joinery is a growing custom joinery business specialising in high-quality residential cabinetry and bespoke joinery.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Cabinet Maker to play a key role in our workshop. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys taking the lead on more complex and custom cabinetry.

This role will involve staging projects in the workshop, leading complex cabinetry builds, solving technical challenges and ensuring a high standard of workmanship across all projects.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the quality of work produced in the workshop and play an important role in maintaining efficient production and workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Stage and organise projects in the workshop to ensure smooth and efficient production

• Take the lead on complex and custom cabinetry builds, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

• Identify and resolve technical challenges during fabrication and assembly

• Take ownership of the overall quality of work produced in the workshop

• Ensure cabinetry leaving the workshop meets a consistently high standard of quality and workmanship

• Assist with troubleshooting build or design issues during production

• Help improve workshop processes and production efficiency

• Support a productive and professional workshop environment

• Take pride in producing cabinetry that reflects a high level of craftsmanship

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in cabinet making

• Strong knowledge of cabinet construction methods

• Experience assembling kitchens and custom cabinetry

• Ability to interpret joinery drawings and plans

• Strong problem-solving ability

• Excellent attention to detail

• High standards of workmanship
