About The Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Driver to join our team in Dandenong South. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This full-time role will see you working Monday – Friday 6.00am – 2.06pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment in accordance with Penrite policies & procedures

  • Safely operate high reach forklifts, Hold a current valid current forklift licence (counterbalance with high reach experience - a must!)

  • Load and unload deliveries and transport products within the facility

  • Perform quality checks and ensure products meet company standards

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

  • Assist with general production and storage duties as required

  • Operate filling machines correctly and safely to meet or exceed daily work orders output requirements

  • Ensure quality control for all products produced on the processing line meet Penrite and AU standards

  • Operate pallet wrapper equipment

  • Move and store products into correct racking locations

  • Ensure production machines are equipped with necessary packaging products

  • Manoeuvre finished product pallets between pallet wrapper machine and storage bays

  • Safe handling of all pallets, 205L drums and IBCs throughout the plant

About You 

To be considered for this position, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Experience in monitoring and recording quality control measures

  • Proven experience operating liquid filling machines and pallet wrappers (beneficial but not essential)

  • Safe use of all equipment

  • Sound understanding of workplace safety and manual handling requirements

  • An eye for detail

  • High degree of reliability

Physical requirements of the role:

  • Long periods of standing

  • Lifting

  • Bending

  • Pushing / pulling / rolling 60 litre and 205 litre drums

  • Physically fit and alert

  • Fluent in English (reading and writing)
