Advanced Imaging Systems is an Elite FujiFilm (Fuji Xerox), Lexmark and Epson Printer / Scanner partner in Dandenong South, we are looking for a trainee Technician, to join our team.

The Role:

Join our Melbourne office and play a crucial part in our Printer service team, You will be trained in house and with our Manufacturers to be a skilled Printer Technician.

In this full-time role you will:

• learn Fundamentals of printer engines.

• Fault finding technique.

• Electro / Mechanical knowledge.

• IT connectivity of printers.

• Scan2email setup.

• Learn to deliver and install Printers, Copiers and Scanners.

• General print & software-related knowledge .

• Service and repairing - multi-function copiers, printers and other digital products in-house and in the field.

• Customer Support – you will learn to build positive relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service, clear communication.

• Service delivery processes & stock management - you will learn our machine management system & Productive service time management skills, whilst learning to maintain desired productivity and stock management.

About You:

• A passion for discovering and understanding the latest technology.

• Good hand dexterity - Capable with tools (screwdrivers etc).

• Able to carry heavy weight (Printers, supplies, tools etc).

• Sound knowledge of computers and office software.

• IT Cert 3, or IV if valid but not required.

• Strong customer service skills a bonus.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Not colour blind

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A proactive and problem-solving attitude.

• Possession of a current and valid driver's license.

• Possession of a Blue Card or the ability to obtain one for working with children.

• Year 10 completion or equivalent qualification required.
