CarSauce is one of Australia's largest and fastest-growing automotive media brand, with over 220,000 YouTube subscribers and more than 40 million views a year across our channels - and we're just getting started!
We're hiring a full-time Video Editor & Videographer to join us at our new Brighton East office and help shape the content behind CarSauce and our sister channel, TechSauce.
This role starts with a heavy focus on editing, but filming and production are core to the job. You'll cut engaging long- and short-form content, and you'll be just as comfortable behind the camera shooting car reviews, tech features and studio pieces.
Your work will go out across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and our website - in front of a large and fast-growing audience.
Edit long-form YouTube videos for CarSauce and TechSauce
Cut short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook - fast-paced and tailored to each platform
Film car reviews, tech videos, studio content, b-roll and social clips
Run camera, lighting and audio setups, and support general production
Edit photos and other visual content as needed
Manage footage, project files and editing workflows
Work closely with the team to sharpen pacing, storytelling and overall production quality
Bring creative ideas to the table for new formats, hooks and edits
2+ years of video editing experience
Strong editing skills - fast, without dropping quality
Confidence behind the camera
High proficiency across Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom
A solid understanding of what works on YouTube and social
Sharp attention to pacing, audio, music, colour, thumbnails and storytelling
The ability to work to embargoes and tight deadlines without missing a beat
Organised, reliable and keen to learn
A genuine interest in cars, tech, media or online content
Able to work full-time from our Brighton East office
Motion graphics experience
Thumbnail design experience
Drone experience or licence
Photography skills
