About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Aftersales team. As the key point of contact between customers and the workshop, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional service experience while ensuring efficient workshop operations and customer satisfaction.

This role requires strong communication skills, excellent organisational ability, and the confidence to manage customer enquiries, workshop coordination, and repair processes in a fast-paced dealership environment. This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.


Key Responsibilities

Pre-Delivery & Vehicle Coordination

  • Coordinate vehicle arrivals, preparation, and delivery activities to support smooth and timely customer handovers.

  • Assist with Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), vehicle readiness checks, and delivery scheduling.

  • Manage Launch Offer items, verifying issuance of floor mats, charging cables, and wall chargers.

  • Coordinate accessory installations and third-party services, including tinting and paint protection, in line with delivery requirements.

  • Conduct final vehicle checks prior to customer collection and assist with delivery-related enquiries.

Customer Service & After-Sales Support

  • Provide professional and customer-focused support across service bookings, vehicle enquiries, and after-sales operations.

  • Manage customer communications via phone, email, SMS, and in-person interactions in a timely and professional manner.

  • Coordinate service, repair, and recall bookings with workshop teams and maintain regular customer updates throughout the process.

  • Accurately record customer concerns and vehicle information within dealership management systems.

  • Assist in resolving customer concerns and ensuring a positive ownership experience.

Parts, Warranty & Administration Support

  • Support parts and accessory coordination for vehicle delivery and after-sales operations.

  • Assist with parts ordering, receiving, tracking, and stock organisation activities.

  • Prepare customer invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate service and warranty documentation.

  • Support warranty claim administration in line with manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures.

  • Maintain accurate customer, vehicle, and operational records across internal systems.

Workshop & Operational Coordination

  • Liaise closely with workshop technicians and service teams to support efficient daily operations.

  • Assist with workshop scheduling and coordination to maximise operational efficiency and vehicle turnaround times.

  • Ensure repair and maintenance requirements are communicated clearly between customers and workshop teams.

  • Support compliance with dealership procedures, workplace health and safety standards, and EV/high-voltage safety requirements.

  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and professional workshop environment.

Manufacturer Communication & Reporting

  • Support communication with manufacturers regarding technical, warranty, and after-sales matters.

  • Assist with submitting supporting documentation, reports, photos, and related information where required.

  • Support operational reporting relating to vehicle deliveries, workshop activities, and after-sales performance.

  • Contribute positively to team culture and continuous improvement initiatives within the Aftersales department.


What We’re Looking For

  • Fully qualified Motor Mechanic or Registered Vehicle Technician, holding a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or recognised equivalent qualification).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic or Automotive Technician in a professional workshop environment. Solid understanding of automotive service and repair practices.

  • Proven experience using modern diagnostic tools, including scan tools and oscilloscopes, with the ability to interpret results and follow diagnostic procedures accurately.

  • Familiarity with EV (Electric Vehicle) or Hybrid Vehicle systems, including high-voltage safety protocols and component servicing.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Must have a current Valid driver’s licence.

  • Priority will be given to those who speak Mandarin
