Join an established Australian flexible packaging manufacturer as a Flexographic Printer. Our client operates a modern production facility in Melbourne's north, specialising in extrusion and flexographic printing across polyethylene films, delivering custom packaging solutions to major clients across Australia.

This is a permanent, full-time role working a day shift in a hands-on, technology-focused production environment where print quality and safety are paramount.

About this opportunity:

• Permanent, full-time position with a stable, Australian-owned manufacturer

• $80,000 - $85,000 per annum + superannuation

• Day shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm

• Located in Heidelberg West

• Supported onboarding: 1-2 weeks shadowing before working autonomously

• Working with state-of-the-art flexographic presses

What you'll be doing:

• Setting up, operating, and running flexographic printing presses to production schedules

• Mixing and matching inks to colour specifications and quality checks

• Setting and maintaining print registration, impression, and colour consistency

• Correcting print defects and ensuring quality standards are met

• Press maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting

• Safe handling and palletising of finished product

• Completing production and quality documentation

To be considered for this role:

• Trade qualification in printing/graphic arts (Certificate III level minimum) - highly regarded

• Demonstrated experience operating flexographic printing presses

• Proven ink mixing and colour matching capability

• Strong understanding of print registration, impression setting, and quality control

• Mechanical aptitude for press set-up and changeovers

• Capable of manual handling tasks and palletising

• Strong attention to detail with genuine commitment to safety
