About the role

Ballinger Technology Pty Ltd is seeking a talented and driven Sales and Technical Support professional to join our team. You will play a crucial role in developing both existing markets further as well as driving our expansion into new areas.

What you'll be doing

• Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions

• Experience in a technical sales role.

• Deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical support, ensuring customer satisfaction

• Collaborate with the engineering team to stay up-to-date with product features and capabilities.

• Engage with our manufacturing team to ensure deadlines are met

• Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing initiatives

• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and support provided

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a sales and technical support role, within the Electrical/Electronic Engineering industry.

• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly understand and explain complex products

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers

• A problem-solving mindset and the drive to provide exceptional customer service

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities

• You will be working with and supporting:

  • Vehicle speed measurement equipment.

  • Automotive CAN Bus networking and control products.

  • Vehicle Counting and classifying equipment.

  • Sports Radar

• You must:

  • Have the ability to sell.

  • Be able to understand and advise accurately how our products function, are best suited to their application and will assist our clients in what they want to achieve.

  • A level of computer or microcontroller programming skill to assist in supporting the automotive CAN Bus equipment we manufacture and sell. You will not be expected to write code, but you will need to understand how our equipment interfaces to a vehicle and tailor that interface to suit an application.
