The Role

As a Rental Minimum Standards Inspector, you will:

• Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with Victoria’s rental minimum standards, including:

  • Structural soundness.

  • Functioning doors, windows, and locks.

  • Adequate heating and ventilation.

  • Compliance of bathroom and kitchen facilities.

  • Proper lighting and window coverings.

  • Identification of damp and mould.

• Prepare detailed inspection reports highlighting compliance status and required rectifications.

• Communicate findings and provide expert guidance to property owners and managers.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the Residential Tenancies Regulations and updates to minimum standards.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• Knowledge of Victoria's rental minimum standards (or willingness to train)

• Property inspection or compliance assessment background
