Gutter Cleaner / Field Operator — Full Time

We're growing, and we're looking for a reliable, hardworking field operator to join the team full-time.

The role

You'll be out on the road servicing booked jobs across Melbourne's eastern suburbs, typically 3 to 4 homes a day. Day to day, you'll be:

• Cleaning gutters on single, split-level, and double-storey homes

• Carrying out add-on services such as solar panel cleaning, skylight cleaning, gutter guard installation and removal, and window cleaning

• Taking clear before-and-after photos of every job

• Working safely with ladders and roof access, following our safety procedures

• Keeping your vehicle and equipment clean, stocked, and in good order

• Representing GGC professionally with customers. You must be friendly, punctual, and tidy

What we're looking for

Essential:

• A current Australian driver's licence

• Good physical fitness and genuine comfort working at heights, on ladders, and on roofs

• Candidates must possess moderate fitness levels to safely and effectively perform gutter cleaning tasks on various property types

• Reliability and punctuality. Our customers are given arrival windows, and we keep them

• A presentable, friendly manner when dealing with customers on their property

• A good attitude and willingness to learn our way of doing things

Highly regarded (but not essential — we'll train the right person):

• Previous experience in gutter cleaning, roofing, painting, or another outdoor trade

• A Working at Heights ticket, or willingness to obtain one

• Experience using ladders and roof safety equipment

• Living in or near Melbourne's eastern suburbs. Most of our jobs are local, so less travel for you

Experience is preferred, but the right attitude matters more. If you're fit, reliable, and keen to learn, we're happy to train you up.
