Tri Tech Refrigeration is a reputable company specializing in industrial refrigeration systems for cold storage and food & beverage manufacturing facilities. We proudly serve a large customer base across Victoria.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a refrigeration technician with experience on commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Ammonia or Co2 system experience would be an advantage but not essential. We are more than happy to provide training in industrial refrigeration for the right candidate.

As an Industrial Refrigeration Technician at Tri Tech Refrigeration, you will be responsible for:

• Performing maintenance and servicing on reciprocating and screw compressors.

• Maintaining single-stage and two-stage ammonia refrigeration plants.

• Servicing various cooling systems including liquid recirculation, direct expansion (DX), flooded systems.

• Applying general knowledge of electrical systems and control circuits to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.

• Working with Freon-based systems as required.

• Providing guidance and training to apprentice refrigeration mechanics under your supervision.

• Completing and maintaining accurate job documentation, including signing off job cards upon completion.

• Traveling extensively across regional and interstate locations to service our diverse customer base.

Skills and Experience Required

• Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Trade Certificate

• Australian Drivers License

• Refrigerant Handling License

• White Card

• Excellent diagnostic skills

• Can work well individually & in a team environment

• Good communication skills, both written & verbal.

• Ability to pass medical examination

• Can understand and work to all WHS & safety requirements
