The Opportunity

Are you an experienced, professional truck driver who takes pride in your rig and your run?

Spartan Double Glazing is a proudly Australian-owned, national manufacturer of premium uPVC double-glazed windows and doors. We are currently seeking a highly reliable and skilled Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Driver to join our logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for critical, damage-free deliveries of our custom-built windows and doors across Victoria, South Australia, and the Australian Capital Territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe, efficient, and timely delivery of premium, fragile freight (uPVC window and door frames, glass units) across regional and metro areas in VIC, SA, and the ACT.

• Overseeing the safe loading, securing (using A-frames, padding, and straps), and unloading of high-value custom glazing products to ensure zero transport damage.

• Conducting thorough pre-start vehicle inspections and ensuring the truck is maintained to the highest standards.

• Accurate completion of run sheets, logbooks, and all necessary compliance documentation.

• Adhering strictly to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Fatigue Management regulations.

• Providing excellent, professional customer service and acting as the face of Spartan Double Glazing at all delivery and pick-up points.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must be a seasoned professional who respects the road, the equipment, and the fragile nature of the freight. You will need:

• A current, unrestricted Medium Rigid (MR) license (HR or HC licenses also highly regarded).

• Extensive commercial driving experience (previous interstate running and experience transporting glass/windows is a major advantage).

• A clean driving history and a proactive approach to safety and compliance.

• Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting on the road.

• A highly reliable, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently.

• A clean National Police Check and the ability to pass a commercial medical/drug and alcohol screen.
