City Automobiles Melbourne (City Kia) is a family-run business and is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our growing dealership team. About the Role
Reporting to the Dealership Management Team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day administration and accounting functions of the business. Your responsibilities will include supporting financial processes while occasionally assisting with vehicle stock control and ensuring efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
Assisting with vehicle stock control and stock-related administration
Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records
Processing invoices and supplier payments
Following up on outstanding debtor accounts as required
Supporting dealership reporting and compliance requirements
Assisting management with general office administration duties
Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal departments
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in an administration, accounts, or dealership support role
Sound understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Experience with bank reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
Experience within the automotive industry or dealership environment
Exposure to stock control or inventory administration
Experience using dealership management systems. "Pentana" experience will be an advantage, but not mandatory
