The Opportunity:

• Part-Time 0.4 EFT | Fixed-Term contract of employment until 31/12/2026.
• TL $90,879 - $128,887 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
• Chadstone Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport.

Join Holmesglen’s Design and Finishing Trades Department, where we deliver innovative, industry-focused training across a diverse range of disciplines, including printing, fashion, interior design, furniture manufacturing and upholstery, painting, and trowel trades. Through hands-on learning and strong industry partnerships, we equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for successful careers in their chosen fields.

As a Teacher – Printing, you will inspire and support students by delivering engaging, industry-relevant training and assessment. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will develop learning resources, foster strong industry connections, and help ensure our programs remain current, practical, and aligned with industry needs.

As a Teacher – Printing, you will:

• Deliver innovative, inclusive teaching strategies that support diverse student needs and enhance learning outcomes.
• Develop high-quality learning and assessment materials and deliver engaging training across a range of delivery modes.
• Collaborate with industry to ensure training remains current, relevant, and aligned with workplace expectations.
• Support student success through pre-course advice, induction, ongoing guidance, and participation in departmental events.
• Contribute to compliance, continuous improvement, and accurate administration of assessment and training records.
                                                                                                                                                            

To be successful, you’ll have:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
• An approved degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant vocational area (or equivalent, e.g. completion of a letterpress printing apprenticeship) at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
• Demonstrated capability in delivering high-quality, flexible, learner-centred teaching and assessment aligned to VET standards.
• Ability to create inclusive, supportive and safe learning environments that engage diverse learners and promote equitable outcomes.
• Strong industry currency and understanding of the VET sector, including compliance, policy frameworks and continuous improvement practices.
• Well-developed communication, teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively.
• Digital literacy with the ability to integrate contemporary technologies into teaching, learning and assessment to enhance student outcomes.

WWCC and Police Check:

Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
