Gatehouse Senior Guard
Location: North West suburbs
Hours: Monday to Friday, 0600–1400
Pay Rate: Security Award Level 4

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and professional Gatehouse Senior Guard to oversee day operations at our clients storage facility. This is a leadership opportunity for someone who takes pride in security, presentation, and attention to detail in a premium environment. Please note, this is a standalone position and officers will be required to work independently on shift.

You will be responsible for managing access control, supervising gatehouse operations, and leading a small team to ensure the site remains secure, professional, and efficient at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise gatehouse operations during day shift

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to gatehouse staff

• Manage roster covering all leave and 24/7 shifts and within budget

• Control and monitor site entry and exit

• Check visitors, contractors, and clients in and out

• Accurately register all vehicles, assets, and items entering or leaving the site

• Monitor CCTV systems and respond to any incidents

• Conduct or coordinate site patrols as required

• Ensure site security protocols are followed at all times

• Liaise with onsite client 

• Maintain detailed logs and reports

About You

• Previous experience in security and in a gatehouse (supervisory experience preferred)

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• High attention to detail and professionalism

• Comfortable working with CCTV and electronic access systems

• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented

• Ability to work independently and lead a team
