About The Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced boiler maker to join our team based in Hallam on a full time basis. This is a permanent position with job security for long term employment with a company that has been operating for over 30 years.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in MIG Welding is essential

Preferred skills

• Ability to interpret drawings to achieve mark out, assembly, fabrication.

• Understand and comply with weld and other procedures, Quality Standards and attention to detail.

• Demonstrate by experience to weld and fabricate Structural Steel, Pipework and Plate. Other materials such as stainless and alloy would be beneficial.

Required Attributes:

• Be able to work unsupervised. 

• Be committed to high safety and quality standards.

• Be genuine, honest and forthcoming in all safety & work-related matters.

• Have good problem-solving skills and be prepared to contribute to team.

• Be an effective communicator and decision maker when required.

• Clear knowledge and understanding of safe work principles and practice as applied in a workplace. 

• Have a great work ethic whether working autonomously or part of a team.

• Ability to speak and write in English
