Indoor Blind Installation Technician

ScreenAway are looking for a brilliant indoor blind technician to join our national team on a full-time basis. Our installers have the unique advantage of installing the latest in indoor blind and flyscreen technology with the recent inclusion of ViewTek, a fast-growing national brand that delivers sleek, contemporary retractable Flyscreen solutions, bringing the outdoors in and style to every space.

About the role:

By installing our quality blinds and flyscreens, you will have the ability to help customers turn day into night and make flyscreens disappear when not needed. Best of all you will be provided with all the support you need to succeed. 

You will be provided with practical training along with telephone assistance and ongoing support from our production team at any time. All daily schedules are pre-booked for you ahead of time and products will be available for weekly collection from our warehouse.

To be considered for the role you will:

• Have experience in installing indoor window furnishings, roller shutters, plantation shutters or Outdoor Blinds (preferred)

• Be reliable, with exceptional customer service skills

• Have keen attention to detail

• Be able to work autonomously to achieve daily targets

• Currently hold a valid drivers license 

• Be a people person who takes pride in their work

• A proven ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of clients in both written and verbal form

• Have a keen interest in home improvement with the ability to problem solve on site

• Someone who is proficient on the tools, computer literate & tech savvy
