Refrigeration / HVAC Technician – Workshop Based:
  • Workshop-based role – no daily travel across Melbourne
  • Newly established facility in Epping
  • Product training provided
  • Stable Monday to Friday hours
  • Up to $110K depending on experience + Super + Overtime
The Company:
 
Our client is a global leader in climate control systems for the energy sector. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Refrigeration / HVAC Technician to join their newly established workshop in Epping.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step away from a traditional field service role and into a workshop-based environment, while still working on interesting and specialised equipment.

The Role:

Working within a small team, you will be responsible for assembling, testing and servicing refrigeration and HVAC equipment in a workshop environment.
Duties include:

  • Assemble, test, and commission refrigeration and HVAC systems to ensure they meet operational and performance requirements.
  • Interpret and follow technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams for accurate installation and assembly.
  • Diagnose faults, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform quality inspections to maintain high workmanship standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment while contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.
To be successful, you will have:
  • Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  • Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)
  • Experience working on refrigeration or HVAC systems
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude

Hours:
Monday to Friday
7:00am – 3:00pm Starting time can be a little flexible
