We currently have full-time permanent opportunities for qualified trades professionals to join our advanced, world-class manufacturing facility in Port Melbourne.
Working in a supportive team environment, you will be trained in the pre and post production processes of aircraft components, exercising high precision trade skills using various material and/or specialist manufacturing techniques. Absolutely no previous experience in our industry required.
You will be placed on one of these shifts depending on business requirements (majority of the roles will be across day and afternoon shifts but your flexibility to be able to work across all shifts is essential):
Day Shift: 6am – 2:30pm
Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm – 11pm (15% Salary loading)
Night Shift: 10pm – 6:30am (30% Salary loading)

- From 1 July 2027: Base Salary of $106,142

Position Responsibilities:
Assembling aircraft components
Following digital work instructions and detailed drawings
Measuring and working to high tolerances
Working within a production line environment – highly repetitive, takt time based physical and manual work (sitting and standing for long periods of time depending on work area)
Drilling, fastening and shimming
Use of relevant personal protective equipment and adhering to EH&S requirements
Using a variety of hand and power tools, sealants and chemicals
Lifting up to 15 kgs maximum on an ad-hoc basis
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
Relevant Trade qualification is essential and relevant experience working in your trade
Literacy and numeracy skills to follow and interpret digital work instructions and engineering drawings
Hand skills with a high level of attention to detail under repetitive conditions
Flexibility and willingness to work across day, afternoon and night shift as per business requirements
Ability to work independently or part of a diverse team towards a common goal and to agreed KPI’s
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Enjoy working with hands and physical work
Full, unrestricted working rights for Australia
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
Completion of a Trade Apprenticeship
